Narrated Abu Hurairah: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: When any of you hears the summons to prayer while he has a vessel in his hand, he should not lay it down till he fulfills his need."
Does it mean we can eat as long as we don't finish our food in suhoor even if the time of suhoor came to end?
This hadeeth has been considered as weak by some scholars like Ibn Abi Haatim. Furthermore, it goes against the verse which says,
"...And eat and drink until the white thread (light) of dawn appears to you distinct from the black thread (darkness of night)...”
And it is known that the adhaan of Fajr is not made until it is subh saadiq and that is the time when fasting begins. Therefore if suhoor time ends stop eating.
