Daniel Siegel says in his talks that scientists from different fields of science have no definition of the mind, or at least not something they can all agree upon. He asked many people whose profession is related to the mind and he said that just about 2% of nearly 100,000 people he asked said that they had heard a lecture about what the mind is.
What are your comments on this?
Though I haven’t heard Daniel Siegel say this, what I can mention here is that the mind cannot be observed directly. We cannot see someone thinking, or observe their memories or perceptions. This is what makes it complex to understand. This is the major problem, though Islam does enlighten us about the 'aql and mental processes.< Back to Questions
