What are the matters one should consider before leaving the country?
One should clear one's debts before making hijrah, like one clears debts before hajj.
Allah (سبحانهُ وتعالى) says:
“And Hajj (pilgrimage to Makkah) to the House (Ka‘bah) is a duty that mankind owes to Allah, those who can afford the expenses (for one’s conveyance, provision and residence)”
We are making hijrah for the sake of Allah, so we should not make an excuse to run away from obligation or get permission from one whom we owe money to. Hijrah primarily should be done close to your homeland, not necessarily oversees. It requires effort and sacrifice, but it is possible.
