Bride Selection

1) If a married man has to take a second wife, which would be a better preference, a virgin or a widow.

2) If a man divorces his wife due to old age and if the woman has no children, Islamically who should financially provide for her.

1. As stated, each case is treated on its own merits, and everyone has a choice to choose what's best for them
2. If she cannot provide for herself then the same people who were supposed to look after her while she was younger are the same ones responsible to take care of her: the relatives.
