Gregory Morse is a Muslim originally from Los Angeles, California, USA. He graduated with a BS in Computer Engineering from Lehigh University and worked several years as a software engineer before embracing Islam in 2010 officially in Malaysia. He is currently pursuing an BMAIS at Islamic Online University while studying to memorize the Qur'an and perfect his tajweed as well as engaging in Quranic research and an Islamic metadata project. His goal is to come up with fresh ideas and ways of thinking to apply Islam to the complexities of the modern world and to use the intellect, which is really a spiritual faculty to solve problems and shape our world towards Islamic ideals that will solve many of the crisis encountered in these modern times. A researcher, a thinker, and also combining his computer experience to do practical work from da'wah videos, to writing articles to maintaining a website at www.islamsource.info to carry out research towards building reusable and general patterns that would advance Islamic software and sciences in the computer age. He hopes Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala will accept the effort and give hidayah to many people.
