What defines “Peace”- the best gift anyone can ever have? Many people can describe it, yet, no words can ever define “Peace” as a whole. When you have peace, you possess everything, and when you lose peace, you lose everything.

Problems of our lives can be considered as *the* enemy of peace. Regardless of which category in life you and I fall, all of us have fallen into the trap of killing our serenity and peace with threats which our problems have caused. Not a single human soul can escape the trials of life. Tests of life should not depress us, for Allah SWT never burdens our souls beyond their scope; He SWT loads us with problems and He SWT also shows a way to solve them all.

Individuals struggle, families march forward, cities and countries voice for revolutions and the whole human race is setting its vision to find peace. All of us are walking on the timeline of life searching for peace as we have started realizing that the freedom of our souls relies solely on peace!

But the question is, do we really know the real source of peace ?

No matter how old you are, which culture you belong to, what your faith is and what your financial status is; the source of peace is common and unique for all! If you are amongst those human souls which are hunting for real source of Peace; you have landed on the right article.

In this article, let us analyze how we can attain peace from its original source and keep our souls healthy throughout our lives. In order to accomplish this task, I would like to compare your life to a garden filled with fragrant flowers.

Let’s peep into a garden of flowers !

Thousands of buds get killed by a strong wind force before they can even bloom, yet, many fresh flowers bloom there every day. Some of the bloomed flowers get admired by human eyes and tasted by honey bees, while others go neglected and left alone. The neglected flowers know to ignore the fact that they are being neglected and they continue to spread their fragrance in the air to refresh the world. They serve the purpose of their creation regardless of how they get treated by fellow creations!

On the other hand, many other flowers are reduced to dried petals fallen on the ground. They dared to bloom even after knowing they would end in gloom. Did you hear the laughter of those beautiful flowers? Did you sense the painful moan those neglected flowers make? Did you feel the heartbreaking cry of those dried petals? Despite knowing that their lifespan is but limited for a few days; flowers never cease to bloom! They’re destined to have declining freshness yet, they fight with life until they dry!

peace-blog-imageThey are so tiny in size, yet, they’re capable of bringing peace into complicated human hearts! Are you weaker than those soft little flowers? What are you crying for? Look around yourself – there are many signs! Yes, your life is but a garden of flowers. Let your laughter, moans, cries and tears color your life with a divine Peace. No matter what battle you fight within your soul, be the strong soul you are born to be and give peace to the world; so that your Akhirah (hereafter) would let you look back and say “I have lived a successful life”.

“Verily in the remembrance of God do hearts find rest” (Ar-Ra’d 13:28)

Here are a few tips to attain peace:

Remember Allah SWT: Some ways to constantly engage yourself in the remembrance of Allah SWT is by doing :

  • Dhikr
  • Repent for what you’ve done
  • Indulge in dua, dua and more dua
  • Read the Quran to see what Allah SWT has to say to you.
  • Pray to Allah SWT and tell Him every single thing that’s troubling you, bothering you and worrying you! He is the Best of Listeners.

Whether you admit His presence or not, the fact of the matter is that you will never find peace unless and until you engage yourself in the remembrance of Allah SWT.To cover your life with tranquility, you must pick a tool which your Creator prefers you to select; and that’s all about remembering Him SWT no matter where you go and what you do. This is a simple reminder which is for myself first and foremost, and then for the rest! Peace comes with the remembrance of  Allah SWT, so invite it by remembering Him for Allah is As Salaam- the flawless source of peace!

Mash’Allah sis this is a beautiful article that really enlivened my heart. May Allah (swt) reward you. I agree with everything you said. I would add that one must have the intention to live a life of outer and inner peace. With that clear intention, we can start to take steps, both spiritual and worldly, to attain that peace.

I agree with the sources of finding peace like Dikkar Dua and Repentence… Apart from this I strongly believe that one has has to be very hopeful and positive… As positivity take our life towards positive reaults. Additionally the feeling of love and faith are more towards the positive attribute. One should always remeber that everything needs a perfect time to be done and perfect tine has has to come InshAllah. So be hopeful have faith on the Allah Almighty and love your life
