The command to read came to Muhammad SAW at the prime of his life - 40 years. Nonetheless, he utilized the opportunity fully and was able to learn, grow and progress through this life changing habit. The Muslim reader can achieve the same with the right intention and corresponding actions.
Try recalling the last time you got temper. With a frown it might have started but your physical movements would have added more to it, victimizing some people or things around you! You might have even hurt your own self or destroyed your own possessions to ward your rage off.
The very most important step to happiness is prayer. We have seen the evidence for this statement in the prayer of Prophet Ibrâhîm. It gives you the opportunity to experience moments without a care in the world. Put your trust in Allâh. We can read in the Qur’ân: “No disaster strikes upon the earth or among yourselves except that it is in a register before We bring it into being - indeed that, for Allah , is easy” Qur’ân 57: 22
