Look at you! You are better than what you were before Ramadan. If not doing so good, you are not even doing so bad. You pushed yourself from something to being something better. You can be better and you can definitely do better than this. Before Ramadan ends, let's ponder on our efforts and evaluate them. Let's make a much better muslim out of ourselves.
Fasting helps us develop a strong personality and character. Not giving in to the temptation of having a sip of cold water even when no one is around really says volumes about a person's self control. It instills other great qualities in us such as patience, will power and determination, which we need in our lives and fasting helps us in getting the hang of them. And don't forget fasting instills humility in us by giving us a feeling of deprivation which normally the affluent ones never face. We learn that life isn't always perfect, not for,any of us anyway, and that leads us to developing another gigantic characteristic: generosity. We learn to give because we learn exactly how it feels to have nothing.

No more excuses as you hear it from Muslims fasting for 20-21 hours, busy parents, students of knowledge and more.
