How is the love of the Prophet (ﷺ) reflected in the Muslim character?
The Prophet (ﷺ) brought the Qur’an and lived by it. When Aisha (رضى الله عنها) was asked about the character of the Prophet (ﷺ) she said,
"...His (ﷺ) character was the Qur'an...”
Prophet (ﷺ) also said,
"I have not been sent except to complete moral character.”
A similar narration is found in the Muwatta of Imam Malik,
“…was send to complete to perfect for you or to complete most noble moral character."
Righteousness is good character. Love of the Prophet (ﷺ) should be reflected in our character, we should live by the character he (ﷺ) brought forth. The Muslim community indulges in fights in the Masjids, we have means of resolving disputes by resorting to the Qur'an and Sunnah. We cannot resolve the means except by adopting good character.
