It stands that Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) always used one mudd of water and one saa' for ablution and bath. How much is the amount of one mudd and the amount of one saa' in litres?
One mudd is when an average person fills both palms of his hands with water, that is one mudd. This works out to plus or minus 250 milliliters. A saa' is four mudds which works out to be about one liter. So the Prophet (ﷺ) used to make wudhu with approximately 250 ml of water and he (ﷺ) used to use approximately one liter of water for bathing.
