The Exam

As the clock inches towards the two hour mark, I uncertainly skim through my answers before raising my hand to indicate that I have finished. I riffle through my booklet one final time before it is taken up into the hands of the proctor. That’s it.

Is My Heart Rusted?

Within a few days, Dhikr had completely transformed my heart and personality! Though the occasional disagreements and arguments still inevitably occurred post-treatment, the frequency of their occurrence had greatly dwindled down walhamdulillah!

The contentment which occurs when the dying soul rejuvenates, when the untamed tongue recites the words of its Creator, when the dehydrated heart pumps with du’as and dhikr, when the dry eyes weep out of love for its Master

Sowing Miracles

I believe there is no university with greater prestige than the natural university that Allah has provided for us; causing us to reflect on the connection between waves and the moon, ponder over the discipline of night and day, appreciate and enjoy the serenity of overlooking a mountain range. This hands-on approach of reflecting on the creation not only instills within us a greater sense of admiration, love and awe for our Creator, but also gives us the opportunity to extract countless lessons and reminders to improve our own life. In this article I give a personal intimate reflection between myself, a couple of date-seeds and our Creator.
